The "Work Flow" Of Your Future Back Yard Oasis!

EXCAVATION

Let's go!

Your backyard will NEVER be the same! This is the most exciting part of the pool build! We finally get to dig a giant hole in your backyard! Warning: It's MESSY! Texas clay can be a mess and very sticky. Typically we will access your yard from the side of your home, which may also be a mess.

* Please talk to your neighbor and let them know it will be over soon!

REBAR

Let's bend it!

Once we have fully excavated your pool then we come the following day to bend some rebar! This is when the skeleton and the structural element of your project is performed. Our crews are amazing. They bend bar like butter, and they make sure all rebar is properly spaced, and able to pass any inspection. Our rebar is all made in America!

GUNITE

Shoot it!

This part of the process is LOUD! We park at the street and need to use a compressor all day so we can shoot the concrete (or gunite) at over 4000 PSI. That way the gunite can be shot into the empty pool shell, stick, bond, and become a solid concrete shell! After we are done, then you can walk into your pool! The shape is done!

*We do ask that you water your shell for the next 14 days with a water hose a couple times a day so we can "cure" that shell. We want it to last a lifetime!

PLUMBING

The heartbeat of a pool

This is where we will dig 'runs' for our plumbing 18"-20" below grade. This is so when it's freezing out, you never have to worry about your pipes freezing! But... its a mess & it takes a lot of work, but is the heartbeat of any pool. Any pool can look good, but can it run good? We make sure all plumbing is pressure tested & up to code on every project. We also fluid engineer every project in the office with our flow calculators. Our plumbing plans are built in the office and carried out into the field, like all other phases of construction.

TILE & COPING

Now it gets fun!

Now we start to add some color into the backyard. This phase is all done by our masons by hand. So it takes longer than the other phases. Each tile is set with precision! Waterproofing, cutting tile and properly setting grout is so important to any project, especially a Regal Project.

DECKING

Bye bye dirt!

This is the process when we level out all of the messy dirt that is laying around. We grade it out, tamp it down, add deck drains and then lay whatever type of decking you have chosen with our designers. This part is the BIG reveal!
Finally you can walk around outside without getting dirty and the end is near!

PLASTER

It's time for water

This is a 3 day process. On day 1 we clean out the messy pool shell. On day 2 we apply the pebble plaster. Then on day 3 we polish and clean the new plaster AND THEN we beginning filling with water! We will put 1-2 water hoses in the pool, and ask that you monitor the level! Once it's full, turn off the hoses and jump in!

We also ask that you brush the pool as much as possible! We will provide a pole, net and brush! The more you brush the better the pebble finish will be!

POOL SCHOOL

Time to party!!

During the initial 30 days of the pool being up and running, our amazing service team will come once a week to balance chemicals and brush! We encourage you to brush as much as possible to help us speed up the curing process of your new pebble plaster!

On week 3 our office will call you to set up a "pool school." Our service tech will come to your house and school you on all aspect of your pool and backyard. Bring your notebook! This takes about a hour!
